The Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago is the largest and most interactive science museum in the Western Hemisphere. The Exhibit Assistant works together with the Manager, Live Organisms to maintain all aspects of the live organism displays in the Genetics and Farm exhibits. The Exhibit Assistant is responsible for the exhibit animals and plants, on a schedule that includes both weekend and weekdays to be determined together with the supervisor. This position, together with the Lead Exhibit Assistant and Manager, Live Organisms ensures the health and well-being of the animals as well as the quality of the live organism displays seven days a week.
