The Job: The Coordinator, Guest-Facing Programs will project-manage, develop, and implement education-based presentations, live-science experiences, current news demonstrations, activities, events, and VIP experiences that support the Museum’s mission and align with the goals of The Welcome to Science Initiative.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Specialized Experiences. This is a guest-facing position and will require direct interaction with various Museum audiences. Audiences could include, but are not limited to visitor, community, VIP, and school audiences.
This position is responsible for implementing guest-facing programming ranging from large scale science shows and temporary exhibits, to intimate pocket science engagements. Implementation of these programs requires strong project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at one time. This position requires a strong ability to collaborate, excellent communication, and the ability to identify and creatively solve problems.
